We have a good case against this proposed development but the developers have retained a solicitor advocate and planning expert and so we need expert advice to present our case effectively to the Planning Inspectorate.  We have retained one of the leading UK firms of planning experts to help us prepare our final written submission. 

This is a very expensive task but one that has been forced on us by the SSDC’s withdrawing their request for a public enquiry.  We are appealing to residents, businesses and groups for contributions to the campaign fund.   Already we have donations ranging from £10 to £100 and the Bishop’s Castle Civic Society has kindly agreed to donate £300 but we have a long way to go to reach our appeal target.  Any contribution, no matter how small will be gratefully received.

Donations can be made directly to the Group’s Campaign Fund account which is being administered by the Nationwide Building Society Office in Bishop’s Castle or to any Group Member.

When the decision about the CHP Biomass is finally made any funds remaining will be transferred to the Bishop’s Castle Nurses Hospital Equipment Fund
